The Edwing D'Angelo Foundation (TEDAF) is a Harlem-based nonprofit 501(c)(3) advancing economic justice and workforce equity through fashion training, craftsmanship, and social enterprise.
Our mission is to empower communities by providing hands-on skills, employment pathways, and dignity through creative labor, preparing participants for sustainable careers in the fashion, arts, and creative industries.

Meet our Founder and CEO
Edwing D'Angelo
Edwing D’Angelo is an Afro-Colombian–born, Harlem-based fashion designer and creative director. For almost 25 years, he has built a boundary-pushing career rooted in innovation, culture, and community. D’Angelo has shown his collections for the last 30 consecutive seasons during New York Fashion Week, as well as on global stages including ColombiaModa, Dominican Republic Fashion Week, Miami Fashion Week, Bolivia Fashion Week, and Egypt Fashion Week. His work has been featured in major international outlets such as Vogue, Elle, The New York Times, CNN, NBC Today’s Show, and ABC Good Morning America. His designs have been worn by icons including Patti LaBelle, Karol G, Lil Kim, Nick Cannon, Nelly, and Lil Uzi Vert, cementing his place as one of fashion’s most distinctive voices.
Beyond fashion, D’Angelo is widely recognized for his deep commitment to social impact. As the founder of the Edwing D’Angelo Foundation, he leads a mission-driven social enterprise dedicated to transforming lives through fashion-based workforce development. His programs provide training, visibility, and employment pathways for underserved communities in New York—including domestic abuse survivors, formerly incarcerated individuals, LGBTQ+ youth, and young people at risk—empowering them to build sustainable careers in the garment industry.
D’Angelo’s philanthropic work extends powerfully to his homeland of Colombia. In partnership with local leaders and global allies, he has trained over 300 Afro-Colombian women heads of household in Buenaventura, providing them with professional tailoring skills and direct access to sustainable income. This initiative not only uplifts one of Colombia’s most historically marginalized regions but also preserves cultural traditions, strengthens local creative economies, and builds long-term economic resilience for families who have been overlooked for generations.
Social enterprise is at the core of Edwing D’Angelo’s mission, using fashion as a tool to drive empowerment, opportunity, and lasting community impact. Through his dual roles as designer and social innovator, he continues to prove that purpose and creativity can transform lives globally.
Meet our COO
Randi Norfleet
Randi is a strategic business development leader and entrepreneur with 25+ years of experience spanning pharma/biotech, specialty chemicals, and growth strategy. She is the CEO of Link & Leverage, a strategic B2B development consultancy that partners directly with CEOs to clarify scalability, design growth blueprints, and drive measurable outcomes.
Her career path has been unconventional but intentional—moving from marketing and strategic leadership roles at global pharmaceutical companies, including Johnson & Johnson, DuPont Merck, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Daiichi Sankyo, to building entrepreneurship ecosystems through higher education and community-based initiatives. Her work includes helping to build business incubators at Lehman College and founding Entrepreneurs On The Go (EOTG), an entrepreneurship training and economic mobility platform delivering programs across New York City and beyond, with a focus on critical thinking, technology, and financial empowerment.
A Coro Fellow and former legislative aide to the New York State Assembly Education Committee, Randi is a proud alum of Wharton’s Johnson & Johnson Marketing Excellence Program and a certified Six Sigma Green Belt. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications and English from SUNY Albany—an academic foundation that underpins her work as a connector, strategist, and force for systems-level change.
Meet our Director of Community Outreach and Engagement and Treasurer
Rochelle Williams
Rochelle is a dedicated leader and compassionate advocate with over 20 years of success as a top-performing Executive Oncology Account Manager. As the Director of Community Outreach and Engagement for the foundation, she channels her passion for service into creating impactful programs that uplift and empower her community. A fierce advocate for cancer patients and a committed mentor to high school youth, she also provides a sanctuary for the LGBTQ+ community, emphasizing inclusion and support.
A mother of two and grandmother of four, Rochelle believes deeply in giving back and lives by the principle that we are put on this earth to serve. Her civic engagement in local politics reflects her unwavering commitment to building stronger, more connected communities.
Helping others achieve their goals is at the heart of everything she does, driven by her belief that community is everything. For Rochelle, "it's more than a program- it's a chance to spark confidence, and help people discover the power they have had within themselves all along".
Meet our Director of Government and NGO Relations
Mari Moss
Mari has over 20+ years’ experience in corporate, government and
non-profit settings; demonstrated ability to develop,
analyses and manage innovative initiatives; exceptional
business and technical skills employed in assessing
community needs and implementing process
improvements; committed to making a difference in
communities and to encourage and facilitate self-sufficiency
among individuals in need. Extensive background in
economic development assisted with 1 Billion Dollars of
development over 3 years across five boroughs of NYC and
providing strategic/vision development across public,
private, and governmental sectors. Her efforts have further
led to the cultivation of over 5,000 jobs throughout the five
boroughs through the businesses she has assisted. Her
demonstrated success has spanned Strategic Plan
Development, Economic Development, Fund Development
and Grant Writing, Marketing, Event Coordination,
Volunteer Development, Management, Research, Media
production and development, and overall Organizational
Development.
I helped develop the Mary J. Blige Foundation, The
Abyssinian Fund, from its inception. Throughout other
consulting work such as a fundraiser, organized called
Women for Hillary in Harlem, among other campaigns. also
worked on supporting local candidates for district leader
and have in the past served other organizations such as
Obama's Campaign, Gubernatorial Campaigns.
Currently looking for a new challenge with a progressive
employer and the opportunity to utilize, advance, and
broaden my experience.

Alexandra Joseph
With more than 10 years of experience managing complex programs across industries, Alexandra brings a people-first approach to leadership—balancing structure, empathy, and execution. Her work focuses on translating mission into action while empowering teams to deliver with excellence and integrity. She is dedicated to creating sustainable, community-centered outcomes.

GiGi Rayford
GiGi Rayford is a multidisciplinary leader whose work spans
community development, veteran and first-responder support, and
political strategy. As the Executive Director of Citrus Heights Arts,
she has transformed a grassroots vision into a recognized regional
arts district, driving public art, cultural programming and creative
activation throughout Citrus Heights and the Sacramento region.
A seasoned political strategist, GiGi has worked on campaigns and
initiatives across the country, advising candidates, organizations
and leadership teams with a focus on effective messaging,
operational structure, and strategic planning. Her approach blends
hands-on field experience with high-level insight, making her a
trusted partner in complex political environments.
GiGi has spent years supporting veterans and first responders
through advocacy, resource navigation, and community-based
wellness efforts. Her work centers on ensuring that those who
serve receive the support, recognition and access they deserve.
Whether she is building arts infrastructure, guiding national
political efforts, or supporting those on the front lines, GiGi’s work
is rooted in service, clarity and long-term impact. She brings a
steady, solution-oriented presence to every project.
As a board member at large, she supports strategic partnerships,
organizational growth and mission alignment across all initiatives.
